A lone voice presents itself in the marketplace declaring truth and beauty. Another shyly, simply joins in harmony. Surely now we may begin to just suppose these two were beautifully equipped and chosen to display their song in just that way on just that day. Confirmation ambles in as fellow folllows fellow to render simple melody into a surprising symphony. Gathers there at first astonished and ,at first , nervously amused;, an audience intent on comprehending what was so charmingly interrupting how they meant their day to use. They lingered for the full development of all they realized was now intended... And they cheered in glad appreciation of of the gift they had been given. Is this at all akin to the lonely Christians life, a simple sermon, lived in faith and trust in that same marketplace and joined companionably by another whose song is of the same composers ink and pen; is this the gathering of a symphony of lives and voice blent to manifest a healing kind of music into the busy lives of them who roam the corridors of life unconscious of its passing and uncaring of its eventual conclusion. Would not it be seen that the conductor has himself been just as surely choosing ans equipping and composing his gospel overtures to the various receptions he intends... And that he has thought to call his mortal choir a church? And we have met the members... And they is us. God help us, they is us.
