This Morning...

"God thunders marvelously with His voice;
He does great things which we cannot comprehend.
For He says to the snow,
'Fall on the earth'..." - Job 37:5-6a

"He gives snow like wool
He scatters the frost like ashes;
He casts out His hail like morsels;
Who can stand before His cold?
He sends out His word and melts them;
He causes His wind to blow, and the waters flow.
He declares His word to Jacob,
His statutes and His judgments to Israel
...Praise the LORD!" - Psalm 147:16-20

"Like the cold of snow in time of harvest
Is a faithful messenger to those who send him,
For he refreshes the soul of his masters." - Proverbs 25:13

"For as the rain comes down and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there,
But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower
And bread to the eater,
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." - Isaiah 55:10-11

"I watched till thrones were put in place,
And the Ancient of Days was seated;
His garment was white as snow..." - Daniel 7:9

While we have gotten some snowfall over the last five days, none of it has stuck, so we haven't had the pleasure of such a wonderful winter wonderland. Beautiful pictures!

The snow is absolutely amazing!!! One of Jonathon's friends lives up at a much higher elevation and has had to stay at our house.
I love the verses :)

Breathtaking photos! We had a bit of "winter" here yesterday with rain, wind and cooler temperatures. Thanks for sharing the beauty of the NW! :)
