My Week - Part Two: Class of 2011

Saturday, July 23rd.
Benjamin's high-school graduation. (Took place on the Twinkles' real birthday). I am so proud of him!
First, his actual graduation pics...such a handsom bro I have!

Er...how did this picture get in there??
And now, the graduation pics...Yes, I know they're not the best quality.
But better poor pics than no pics at all, right? :)

It was a good day. :)

  1. So are you going to go into the header-designing business now? It looks fantabulous!

You copied my graduation post ending! ;-) The funny thing is, you probably didn't even realize it. It's just that same-brain-wave thing.

Your Mama's proud, adoring smile, Ben's unwavering call to action, the food, the friends, and the incredible achievement--both in scholastics and character--we celebrated: these are moments I remember from the day.

And I laughed out loud--as in, sat here and giggled like an idiot at my computer screen--when I saw the pic of Ben and the lamppost. That's a great one!

  3. I'm just catching up on my blog reading after our holiday at my parents. Looks like you all had a wonderful day and congratulations to your brother.

Nice to see a picture of your mum too. I've been a bloggy friend of hers for a while now but had no idea what she looked like!!

  4. Mika - you're sweet. :) Thanks for the tips..."Google it? Duh!" :P As for the lantern pic, isn't that great? His idea, but not quite professional enough to include in the invites! ;)
    Thanks Rachel!
Kirsteen, I will pass on your congratulations! It was a great day. :)

  5. Congratulations to your brother. I am sure you are very proud of him. Is he the first to graduate from homeschool in your family? We have graduated 4 from homeschool, and 2 from Public High School. One left to go. The homeschool graduations are the best. I miss it all.
    Many Blessings,
    Pam

  6. Pam, thank you! Ben is the second to graduate (after me :). I've never been to a public school graduation (what a weird thought!), but I love the homeschool ones, because God is so central in them!
